Kim Pettijohn joined the Spine Hospital of Louisiana in 2004 and serves as the chief nursing officer, overseeing nursing operations, clinical quality and patient care standards. With decades of nursing and leadership experience spanning critical care, perioperative services and spine care, she is dedicated to supporting exceptional clinical outcomes while mentoring the next generation of nurses.

Kim is a passionate advocate for both patients and the clinical team. She takes pride in fostering a collaborative, family-oriented culture where nurses are empowered to provide compassionate, high-quality care and every patient receives the attention they deserve.

Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and family, serving in her church and splitting time between Baton Rouge and the mountains of North Carolina. She also enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her two English Bulldogs, Beau and Gracie.
